Describe the product precisely
Include a reference image or drawing, materials, dimensions and the few requirements that cannot change. Mark optional preferences separately.
Explain the market and application
Tell suppliers where the product will be sold or used, who will use it and which buyer requirements already apply. The same material can suit very different applications.
Give a realistic purchasing context
Separate trial quantities from repeat-order expectations. Include the sample deadline, purchasing timetable, packaging and destination. Avoid a target price without a matching specification.
List the decision criteria
Rank quality, customization, lead time, packing efficiency and service requirements. A comparison is useful only when it reflects how you will choose.
